Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition

Tuition is billed on a semester basis. Per semester tuition rates are:
  • Youth Symphony ~ $300
  • Sr. Jazz Ensemble ~ $275
  • Jr. Jazz Ensemble ~ $275
  • Concert Orchestra ~ $280
  • Preparatory Orchestra ~ $225
  • Dolce String Ensemble ~ $225
  • Percussion Ensemble ~ $225

Financial Aid

Youth Music Illinois offers full or partial tuition scholarships to help students who would otherwise be unable to participate in our programs due to financial barriers. We strive to make our programs accessible for all young musicians regardless of available income.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need and follow the Income Eligibility Guidelines for the USDA’s Child Nutrition Programs.

It is our goal to make sure that every enthusiastic, hard-working young musician is able to participate in our programs.  All students enrolled who have successfully completed the audition process and have been accepted into an orchestra or small ensemble are eligible to apply for financial aid.

Please contact the Executive Director at ExecDir@youthmusicillinois.org if you have any questions.
