Support Youth Music Illinois

Youth Music Illinois exists to serve the needs of our young musicians. While YMI does charge tuition, those fees only cover approximately 40% of the total cost per student each season. Furthermore, we strive to make our program accessible to any hard-working young musician through need-based tuition scholarships.

The amount you donate will be used to further the mission of YMI – to mentor area youth to develop skills for both music and life through the power of live performance. Donations are used to fund scholarships, hire coaches, rent concert halls, and so much more.

Youth Music Illinois is a 501c (3) organization as defined by the IRS, thus your donation is tax deductible.

Employee Matching

Is your workplace one of the thousands that will match your donations to a nonprofit? These programs can make your donation go even further! If such a program is available to you, please consider doubling your donation to Youth Music Illinois through that process. In Central Illinois, two of the biggest employers that offer matching are State Farm and CAT, but there are many others.
