Taunya Jenkins, Vice President
Dr. Taunya L. Jenkins has served as the vice-president of Youth Music Illinois since 2020. She recently received her doctorate at Illinois State University in Educational Administration with a focus on School Culture. Currently, Dr. Jenkins is the CEO of Quest Charter Academy. Quest Charter Academy is a STEAM focused school that has two buildings which serve students in grades 5th-8th (middle school) and grades 9th-12 (high school). Taunya enjoys utilizing her undergraduate degree in dance by directing shows and choreographing for local theatres and various community functions. She is an active member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and serves in leadership roles on several other arts boards.
