Rehearsals will be held on Sunday evenings from 6 to 8, usually at Youth Music Illinois’ home space, the Life Together Center – 3625 North Sheridan Road, Peoria, IL 61604.

Jeff Arbisi, Conductor
Jeff has been performing for over a decade in some of the best ensembles in Central Illinois, including the esteemed Central Illinois Jazz Train, Central Illinois Jazz Orchestra, Deuxieme, and his own Free Formula Jazz Combo. He also has performed with many ensembles outside the jazz idiom, including a number of rock, funk, and soul groups in the area. He is also an in-demand audio engineer, frequently working with many touring and Grammy nominated artists along with some of the best musicians in Illinois.
Jeff is currently the director of the Morton High School Jazz Ensemble, music director and conductor of the Lincoln Area Music Society Concert Band, assistant director of bands at Morton Jr. High, and a frequent guest conductor and clinician in the area. He also maintains a large private studio where he is able to help many students find musical growth and accomplishment.
Outside of music, he enjoys sound design and audio work for podcasts and DJ’ing some of the most exciting weddings around.
